Witt I. Langstaff, Jr.

Witt is an experienced business leader who for the past 7 years has managed his own consulting and training business focusing on leadership development. He is based in Hartsville, SC. His 23 years of management experience with Sonoco Products Company included a wide variety of general management positions including international experience as President of Sonoco, Ltd. (Canada) and General Manager of Sonoco-Marutsutsu (a Japanese joint venture). This management experience using high involvement leadership practices and employee teams is the foundation for his practical approach to helping others learn these techniques.

Witt also has experience leading community organizations. In the Hartsville community he has served as president of the United Way and on the board of directors of the Rotary Club and the YMCA. Witt is a graduate of Clemson University where he has served on various boards and advisory committees including a term as president of the Clemson Alumni Association. Witt currently serves as a trustee for the Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy based in Asheville, NC.
